The Russian Buvaisar Saitiev, one of only three wrestlers to have won three Olympic gold medals, has abandoned his plans to make a comeback and attempt to win a record fourth at the London Games this summer.

“I’ve decided against returning to competitive wrestling,” Saitiev, a Chechen who turned 37 last month, told the news media. “I may go to London as a fan to support my teammates.”

AYMSTRONG, a fitness and health center, will conduct a snake cage football tournament at the end of this month or in early May. Snake cage is a football match played inside a cage,  between six players or three versus three. No outs, no corners. Its a unique game conceptualized by AYMSTRONG founder Yousef Al-Qanai. The match lasts for ten minutes per half.

Wiltshire people are gearing up for street parties across the county to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

As the deadline for applications for street parties closed today, Wiltshire Council announced that more than 65 parties are set to take place over what promises to be a fun-filled four-day weekend
from June 2-5.

There are so many gadgets outs there now most kids want to stay indoors sat on the couch therefore any chance to get them outdoors and give them exercise is great.

Good prices on shrimp this week make this delicacy affordable. At around $5 to $7 per pound. it compares favorably with such luxuries as steak and pork tenderloins. When cooking shrimp be sure not to overcook it. If you start with cooked shrimp, make your sauce and just heat the shrimp through on low heat. For raw shrimp, sautà briefly, then add ingredients such as coconut milk, herbs, and spices. Total cooking time should not exceed 3-5 minutes (depending on the size of the shrimps.) If you need more time for the sauce, remove the shrimp as soon as they turn pinkish, finish your sauce, and pour over shrimp in serving dish. Or add the shrimp back to the sauce just to warm up.

A Swedish couple has solved a design dilemma that comes with Ikea beds and sofas. In February, Jana Cagin and Mikael Söderblom launched Prettypegs: Shoe Your Furniture (prettypegs.se), a modern and whimsical line of replaceable furniture legs designed specifically for Ikea furnishings.
